About me
Luigi Madormo is a screenwriter for films, podcasts and advertising, and his projects have already been screened at important festivals around the world, such as the Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival. After graduating in social communication from ESPM and working for four years at Red Bull, in 2017 he decided to turn his career around and do what he has always loved, which is telling stories. He studied script development at UCLA Extension in Los Angeles, where he also worked in a wide variety of roles - from production to assistant director - on several audiovisual projects, including a soap opera for Amazon Prime. Still in Los Angeles, he filmed his first short film, "FIT(IN)", in 2019, which raised more than 20,000 reais in a crowdfunding campaign. Back in Brazil, Luigi furthered his studies in official screenwriting training and established himself as a screenwriter, working on projects selected by major festivals and laboratories around the world, such as the short film "AMARELA" (screenwriter), selected for the official competition of the 77th FESTIVAL DE CANNES, 49th TIFF, 45th FESTIVAL DE CINE DE HABANA (Best Fiction Short Film - Coral Special Award), and the feature film "Crisântemo Amarelo" (co-screenwriter), selected for the TORINO FEATURE LAB 2024. Both projects by director and screenwriter André Hayato Saito. He was also the scriptwriter for more than 100 episodes of the podcast "Histórias para Ouvirando Lavava Louça", from the @historiasdeterapia project, nominated as the best podcast in Brazil at the RIO WEBFEST in 2022 and 2023, as well as being the author of the children's story adapted into a book, "Reino de Azulia", presented at Fliaraxá. Luigi also works in advertising and has collaborated on a series of commercials for brands such as Vivo, Natura, Meta, O Boticário and Instagram as a creative assistant and co-writer for the award-winning directing duo Kid Burro.

b+ca is a digital agency specialized on the music business, being responsible for strategy and daily content of Brazilian artists, such as Skank, Milton Nascimento, Emicida and others. I was the planner and project manager of major accounts such as Skank, Emicida, Dilsinho, Samuel Rosa, Rincon Sapiência, and others. My major duty was to create strategy and a release plan for the upcoming music or albums of the artists.

I'm a writing assistant for the directing duo Kid Burro, partners at the renowned production company MyMama. I'm focused on screenwriting and creative writing for scripts, treatments, festival submissions and others. The projects involve feature films, short films, branded content and advertising spots.
