Medium is an open source for creative writers to put out their workfor a wide audience. I’ve been sharing personal projects through my own page and also collaborating with New Order, the first ever Brazilian publication on Medium.
“My path to writing and producing a short film”
When you’re an independent producer, putting together your own film might no be the easiest task. In order to launch the crowdfunding campaign for my movie, I wrote this article on the step-by-step of the whole process through that moment. The crowdfunding turned out fantastic and we shot the film a month later.

There is a lot going on in the Brazilian rap scene. From new artists to new speeches. I collaborated with Pedro Barreto, a Brazilian Digital Intelligence Researcher, to turn the most relevant albums of 2017 in numbers and make a broad analysis of what rap has been broadcasting out in the streets.

RapBox is one of the most relevant youtube projects of Brazilan RAP. It started around 2013 in it has brought more than 100 rappers to record and shoot at their studio. Now the project has come to the offline, and they are throwing a festival in Sao Paulo for the second time. I had the chance to interview its owner, Leo Casa1, and talk about the festival and history of the project.
“Every year should start with Baiana System’s Concert”
While keeping up with the Brazilian music scene coverage, I expanded my articles to a really genuinely Brazilian rap group named “Baiana System”. The group is probably the most original and inventive that has come up in years and they’ve been performing remarkable concerts all around the world. I wrote a piece about what it’s like to be in the middle of the crowd during a Baiana System concert. This work was posted by the band on their official facebook page, with more than 89k followers.
